The shoes are not mass-produced, but handmade in Australia from carefully selected soft, non-toxic leather and suede.

Our shoes have been tested most recently and meet the American Standard ASTM as well as the European Safety Standard EN71. Soft soled leather shoes are chromium (VI)-free (chrome-free leather) and pass all known specifications for formaldehyde, acetaldehyde and glutaraldehyde, including those for baby clothes (the strictest).
